Can you believe there are over 2,000 species of rodents ? The Muridae rodents make up almost two thirds of all Rodentia. This includes crested rats, old world rats, gerbils and mice.
Other rodents include woodchucks, gophers, squirrels, hamsters, voles, lemmings, guinea pigs, porcupines and chinchillas.
Rodents have a unique ability to flatten their bodies so much that they can fit through small cracks you would not have thought they could.
